Smash-Grab Burglar Hits Electronics Store In Massapequa; Suspect On Lam

A burglar made off with plenty of loot after smashing his way into a Long Island business.

The break-in happened in Massapequa, at the Paymore Electronics store on Broadway near Chicago Avenue, at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 4.

An unknown man threw a brick through the front window to gain access before stealing assorted electronic merchandise, Nassau County Police said.

The culprit was last seen on foot heading northbound on Broadway.

Detectives asked anyone with information in the case to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
